BIZCOMPS® 2008 is an annual study of over 10,105 actual businesses sold totaling over $3.4 billion dollars. All business sales data for the entire U.S.A. is contained on one separate Window's disk. A stand-alone Window's program developed by ValuSource accesses the data by SIC code, NAICS code, word search, sale size, and geographical area. Statistical analysis and graphing are also included. There is a comparison analyzer that allows your client's financial data to be entered and assessed by select BIZCOMPS® data. Software now includes a valuation section that allows you to compare a specific business with BIZCOMPS® data. The sold businesses are compared by:

  • Sales price to gross sales (Also graphed and with medians)
  • Sales price to seller's discretionary earnings (Also graphed and with medians)
  • Gross sales by seller's discretionary earnings to determine profitability.
  • Actual down payment versus all cash
  • Rent as a percent of gross sales
  • The value of furniture, fixtures and equipment
